Overwatch is back with its most sought-after cosmetic, and this time it’s for a good cause. Pink Mercy has returned, sporting a new skin with a golden twist. Season 11 of Overwatch 2 commenced on June 20, featuring the Mirrorwatch theme from season 10 with an electrifying Sentai-inspired battle pass. As Blizzard’s multiplayer shooter game gears up for a new season, players can expect a fresh battle pass, balance patch, and a new cycle of ranked play.

While there isn’t a new hero this season, the addition of another Push map brings the total to four. Season 11 introduces hero mastery courses, mythic store options, and a new Kiriko shop skin, offering players a range of new content to explore and master. Here’s a rundown of what to expect in the latest Overwatch 2 season:

  • Get the Pink Mercy skin, support cancer research: The iconic Pink Mercy skin, known for its limited-time availability in 2018 to support breast cancer research, is back on the shelves. Players can now acquire the original Pink skin for $15 or opt for the new Rose Gold skin for $20, with all proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This charitable initiative adds a philanthropic touch to the game, paving the way for more charitable items in Overwatch 2.

  • Overwatch season 11 battle pass: Embracing a Super Sentai theme, season 11 unveils Ultrawatch, a vibrant Power Rangers-inspired theme featuring skins for Genji, Cassidy, Sojourn, Ana, and Wrecking Ball. The battle pass also boasts a lifeguard theme, offering unique skins for Junkrat and Lucio, alongside additional skins available in the shop.

  • New mythic skin: Introducing Mythic Calamity Empress Ashe, the leader of the Deadlock Gang dons a formidable look with dark magic and a striking headdress. Mythic skins, previously available in the battle pass, can now be found exclusively in shops where players can purchase them using mythic prisms earned through the premium battle pass or direct purchase.

  • New mythic weapons: Players can look forward to midseason when mythic weapons make their debut. The first mythic weapon, Bound Demon, is a fiery axe-like hammer that exudes power and special effects for achieving final blows.

  • New map: Runasapi: Season 11 unveils the fourth Push map, set in Illari’s homeland in Peru. Players can explore the Inti Warrior Historical Museum and Monument, shedding light on Illari’s origins and training before becoming the sole survivor.

  • Other new features: Season 11 brings a range of additional changes to enhance gameplay, including new hero mastery courses for Kiriko and Soldier:76, the removal of glass from Colosseo, easier weekly challenges with the option to catch up on missed weeks, and improved matchmaking for narrow and wide groups.

With an exciting array of content and features in the latest season of Overwatch 2, players have plenty to look forward to. Whether participating in battles, mastering new skins, or exploring fresh maps, there’s something for everyone in this action-packed season.
