Revolutionizing the Road: How Mom’s Fuel Stops are Taking Over the Travel Game

Stepping into the realm of culinary expansion, Mother’s Enterprise Limited is embarking on a journey to broaden its reach through innovative partnerships with gas station operators and other key players. The recent establishment of Mother’s Café at the UWI Hospital and a Mother’s Express at the Fesco Beechwood Avenue service station are just the beginning of this exciting odyssey.

  1. Rapid Growth Forecast:
    • By year-end, Mother’s Enterprise aims to launch at least four more branches, potentially pushing its total locations to 27 by December. Managing Director Sheldon Seymour expressed enthusiasm for exploring additional prospects that may arise along the way.
  2. Strategic Partnerships:
    • Teaming up with renowned petroleum distributor TotalEnergies, Mother’s Enterprise plans to unveil four new Mother’s Express stores at strategic TotalEnergies service stations in Kingston, St. James, Clarendon, and another undisclosed location in Kingston. These collaborations underscore the value and convenience brought by these partnerships, filling a niche where quality meals are in high demand.
  3. Brand Diversity and Expansion:
    • Under the umbrella of Mother’s Food Group, the company currently operates 23 locations across four distinct brands. With the majority donning the Mother’s moniker, additional ventures include Devon House Bakery, DHB Too, and the open-air café, Pimentos, all nestled within the Devon House complex in Kingston.
  4. Thriving Mother’s Express:
    • Sheldon Seymour, at the helm of Mother’s Express brand expansion, envisions highlighting the brand’s offerings from chicken meals to pastries and breakfast delicacies. This strategic move aligns with the company’s mission to cater to diverse consumer preferences and demands.
  5. Diverse Offerings at TotalEnergies:
    • While TotalEnergies continues to operate its Café Bonjour brand at various service stations, the addition of Mother’s complements the existing lineup, expanding the culinary horizons for patrons. This collaboration aims to enhance the dining experience and convenience for customers across Jamaica.

Through a recent acquisition by Roots Financial Group, Mother’s Enterprise is poised for accelerated growth under new leadership. With plans to increase the number of locations to 30 by early 2025, Mother’s aims to solidify its position as a culinary cornerstone in Jamaica. The vision statement "Jamaica. Food. Global." underscores the company’s commitment to becoming a revered presence in the culinary landscape, both locally and beyond. As part of Roots Gastronomy, Mother’s and its affiliated brands are set to embark on a journey that spans borders, showcasing the rich flavors of Jamaican and Caribbean cuisine on a global stage.
